The CVA Wolf I am sure is a good rifle. They are low cost. There are others out there I like better but will say that I never shot a CVA Wolf. Is there some reason that this rifle appeals to you? Are you considering this on cost, style, make?

Got to tell you I went last weekend to Bass Pro to get a Wolf until I saw it in person was not impressed at all kind of looked like and felt like it was cheap.Decided to go with the CVA Kodiak instead.

they look identical to that frontier beartooth magnum, the beartooth magnum seemed a bit on the cheapy side, but hey if you have a budget and want inon the game go for it, I would if it was all i could afford.

For what they are charging for some of the rifles at different sites, I feel there are other choices that are in the same dollar ball park figure. I hate to see someone shop strictly according to the pocketbook, but I admit I also am like that at times... Look at some of the other rifles out there. I always look at a rifle that catches my fancy and then think.. how much more could I stretch the dollar and what could I get for that...

I recently bought a 50 cal Wolf. Moreso for the weight than the price. It is by far lighter than any of the other break actions that Cabelas had.
