Anyone have comments - good or bad, about CVAs' Kodiak Magnum rifle?

Default RE: muzzleloaders

There is a lot of talk about the quality of CVA barrels. I personally have nothing against them although there are claims that they are not tested properly for the kind of loads modern black powder shooters put through them. I personally have a CVA Staghorn Magnum and it is a good shooting rifle. I do not get near the magnum load the rifle is allowed, but when it is loaded reasonable, it will shoot excellent.

CVA Kodiak is a break open type rifle. It should be easy to clean. It should also be a good accurate all around rifle for those people that do not want to invest more money in some of the other brand rifles out there. There are better rifles out there for more money, and there are worse rifles out therre. I think it would do a good job for you...
