Approximately how much velocity does a 240 gr. Saboted bullet get out of a 22" barrel over 100 gr. of Pyrodex?
How much range will this load offer on deer and black bear?

Between 1600 to as much as 1800 FPS, but probably closer to 1600, from a short 22" barrel. Max range, + - 125 yards, depending on how good you are at range estimation, holding & squeezing!!

78, prior post pretty much nailed, I shoot this setup and my book says 1675 on velocity. I sight in an inch high at 100" and am good to 150...but yet to have had to use that range. I have killed 3 deer and 1 Bear with it...no problems what so ever.
