season starts next saturday for me but it is my weekend to be on call so i wont be getting out, i still have till december 18th before season ends so i have plenty of time. good luck everyone.

my refuge Hunt starts tomorrow, 10/19 although I plan on looking for for a while unless something good comes along immediately.

Did he notify you as such, or is this an absentia thing? If so, he's been posting around, so I don't know why he would be ignoring this. I'm sure you've sent him a PM or two.

yes i did pm him, he simply stated he did not believe in contests and was not participating which is fine, but why he posted this in the original sign up thread "where do us doe killers sign up", i will never know.

If no one signs up I got a replacement . They are not a forum member but I could take photos and post the results.

sdhunter - What the hell? That makes no sense. I guess he was being sarcastic when he replied in that thread. At any rate, I don't think anyone is taking this contest seriously. It's just for fun. I hope no-one on this forum hunts harder just because they are in a contest. If it takes a contest to make you hunt harder, you've got problems.

yea i dont know why he posted either, if you do not like contests, then dont post in the contest thread. Simple enough aint it?

I just see this contest as a way to post pictures of my (hopefully) successful hunts and maybe help this team earn some points. It is not like your team gets a lolly pop or anything so why anyone would hunt harder, i guess i dont know either.
