every bullet mentioned will work, but I'll cast another vote for the 160 nosler partition
shoots flat, and kills fast
the new 160 accubond looks interesting, but I don't have any experience with it yet

i hunt moose every year and i havent had a problem with winchester 180gr silvertips. they seem to shoot excellent for me. i bought a box of remigtons core lokt 180gr but havent tried shooting them yet, gun frooze up last weekend, too cold. i think even if the core lokt works good, i will still stick to the silvertips, i find that a person doesnt need to spend thier money on the premium bullets, the average ones are just find, place the bullet in the right place and anything will go down.

Ok, everybody has their opinion but my dad has tried a 150gr and a 175gr on elk. The 150 grain diddn't do to good. The 175gr did really really really good. So I dont think I will ever take my 7mm elk hunting without a 175gr Trophy Bonded Bear Claw. Maybe a 165 grain. I just like the 175 grain Trophy Bonded Bear claw though.

IME 140-160 gr bullets out of a 7mm rem mag have performed flawless and I actually couldn't ask for anything more. As long as you pick the right bullet for the job the grain size in most cases falls into a personal preference area more than a requirement. I have a hard time swallowing a 175 TBBC would work/perform any better than 160 NP or similar on elk, just my opinion based on experience.
