Congrats on the new rifle. Of course, buying a rifle is more than an acquisition of wood and steel - it is also the adventure that comes along with it.
I just bought a .375 H&H and everytime I hold it I am either miraculously transported to a cape buffalo hunt in the Dande region of Zimbabwe (it will actually happen too in july '05) or the snow laden moutains of North America wondering if I should try it on elk (after all how many game animals can you realistically use a .375 on) or I should stay with trusty .308.
But I'm beginning to ramble a bit - like i said, buying a rifle is more than an acquisition of wood and steel...
