Default Is the bear population rising in pennsylvania???

Here in PA (atleast Warren County) I've been seeing more bear than I ever have in the past.

#1 Last fall I almost tripped on a sleeping bear while rabbit hunting.
#2 Last fall I snuck up on (or he snuck up on me) a black bear during fall turkey
#3 This spring saw a mother and three cubs
#4 My buddies father in-law who happens to be a game warden has four different bear coming in to his turkey feeder since early summer.
#5 My son and I saw a HUGE bear while driving to go sqirrel hunting.

All of these sightings were in completely diffenent locations within a 25 mile radius

Also there has been four different bear struck by cars since june on a stretch of RT 62 in between Tionesta, Pa and Warren, Pa (about 30 miles)

Well where I hunt in northwestern NJ I always see bears, but this year so far I've seen 4, my friends saw 2 each. Also my buddy has a house in Pike Co, PA about 15 mins from where we hunt in a lake community, deer allover the place. When he brought his house there, he asked me if I think that bears would be in this development, I said YES.....The security guard said NO, last bear seen in there was 20yrs ago. Guess what? They have seen so far this year in the development 7 bears, and if my home state of NJ doesn't allow a bear hunt this year, you can bet PA will have more bears along the border with NJ!!!!!!!
