New or used? You said "seller" instead of "store" or "shop", so I'll answer presuming its used. My personal opinion is that unless its in really pristine condition that price is too high. That's maybe $150 off the price of a new model 75. Not much of a bargain.
Does it come with the Optilock mounts? A set of those are around $80. Factor that into your decision.

I'm taking that that is an U.S. price ,I have a Sako Hunter in 270win and I paid $900.00CDN for it about 12 yrs ago and the new price s are over $1200.00 now .Maybe if this rifle is used it comes with a decent scope and then I would have to say that it's a fair price . Sako's aren't cheap no matter whether they're used or new ,they seem to hold thier value very well if it's been taken care of .I know I wouldn't sell mine for any less than $800.00 including scope Bushnell Elite 3000 if I was to sell it .I had my rifle at a friends who is an firearm's auctionere and he told me not to sell it for less than the price I have quoted ,and he wasn't including the scope.
