Wolf killer - I like your season dates, make sure that it's a 4 point or better season.
. hikchick - what were the numbers to call for knight. utahhntr - give me a list of who to call/ e-mail. Also if memory serves me(I'm not 100% sure on this) Zumbo wrote an article complaining about "unfair non-resident tags/apps/prices ect... can you post the letter he sent so we can see what he had to say.
Oldelk... I believe realtree dropped sponsorship of USO because of the boycotts goin around.

NVMIKE,
I got this off of another thread on this site... but here it is for you too! And anyone else who is willing to use it...
http://www.swarovskioptik.at/english...sp?cat=Contact
http://www.barnesbullets.com/contact.php
http://www.knightrifles.com/ContactUs
These are the 3 companies that I haven't seen take a stand yet. If we can boycott them, maybe they will understand the risk of associating themselves with USO.

Wayne1 USO stands for United States Outfitters, they are a huge outfitting business. The owner is George Talman. To make a long story short they want to put a end to the % cap of non-resident hunters. They have already won in the state of arizona and are try for other states as well. To get up to date read the thread response from Jim Zumbo, and Court Rulling on AZ Permits Bad, both here in the big game section. if you have any questions ask away and I or some one else will try to answere the best we can!
Wolf Killer I like that idea! That would send a strong message! To he!! with USO, and anyone else who supports them!

Also lets not forget that they only got a slap on the hand when NM Game & Fish caught them contacting hunters on the ground from airplanes during season. They are a bad people and only after the almighty $. I hope that they quickly go away with the pressure that is being applied.
However, we as hunters and sportsman need to do something. - UNITE- We have done a fairly good job with putting a pince in there pocketbook so far. There is more to do. Contact there sponsers, if you can refer hunters that are looking for help in applications to your state some advise. Refer people to other reputable outfitters if they are wanting a outfitted hunt. There is a outfitter from AZ that is offering free outfitted hunts for this year if anyone booked with USO drops them and hunts with him.
At most game commision meetings and such we see large groups of people representing - outfitters and the anti's. More sportsman need to attend those meetings. NM is fighting the anti's now. They want to ban trapping. Last commision meeting they had a lot of people there protesting trapping. While only a few were there to stick up for it.
I know that this case with USO was court decided. However this comes to elected and appointed positions from elected officals. Maybe there is a need for a sportsman group that gets inputs from members and then presents them as a united front to game commisions and elected officals. Also they could post which officals that would stand behind us then come election day. Get out and vote for those who support us. Most of the groups I have seen cannot come up with a united front. Bowhunters vs rifle hunters vs hounds man and outfitters. Outfitters are a great tool that needs to be included. "As long as it is not USO" MDF,RMEF,NWTF and such are just conversation orginizations. NRA is just protecting gun ownership. SWF is close but there are some issues that I dont agree with. It seems that there main stance is creating less opportunities with more emphasis on trophy areas.
I want my children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren ect. to have the ability to hunt and enjoy God's creation.
My 2 cents

The way i see it is that for this to work you would have to boycott ALL of the guides in AZ..not just USO....For the fact that they too are taking clients from out of state.....(That might not have drawn with the 10% cap) If you do not then you are all in vain....Uso is not the only outfitter that will benifit from this ruling...The outfitters in general will

Personally I would want to know where they stood on the issue before I boycotted another outfitter. If you read the post before yours (NwOutdoorShop) you will see that there is one outfitter already trying in his own way to make a stand against USO. This I see as commendable... not opportunistic. I would support an outfitter like that any day of the week!
