Muzz - What part of Utah??
Yes, I will be hunting deer and I hunt them both with my bow in Utah. I put in for Wyo. non-res tags (I grew up in Kemmerer) and usually hunt those with bow and rifle (since they don't make you pick!). I only trophy hunt there since I know how and where to hunt it, etc. I also bow hunt elk in Idaho. Most of my hunting is bow hunting since I think rifle hunting in Utah is a joke unless you get a limited entry tag. I put in every year and get my points! [:@] We usually hunt deer for fun here and shoot about anything, but always try to find the big ones, etc. I'm picky for Elk since we do know a few good spots and hunt the extended areas too.
I have visited Monster Muleys. I like the content and all the pics!!
I visit about every stinking Muley or Elk site on the web!!
Very good to meet you and glad to see some fellow Utahns on here. I know there a few more and growing!!
How about you?? Hunt them all?

I hunt muzzleloader for deer and elk I will be going general any bull around Dutch John I think. I am pretty new to elk hunting and dont know much about hunting them or where to go. I am after meat so a small bull is definatly a shooter allthough I got a new house and would like to get a good bull to put in it. I might make a deal with ya. I will show you a placew where some huge deer have been hanging out the last two years I have been watching. If you can put me on some elk. But if i show you you have got to keep it hush hush, I mean it. It is public and it gets pounded on the general hunt but the archery hunt is sweet. How old are you and what do you do for a livin? I live in Roy and am 31 this sunday. I am a moderator on Monster Muleys and visit a few times a day. I like the site but there is getting to be a bunch of weinies on there any more. So I found this place and things seem to be pretty good here. I think I will stick around for awhile. Give me a hollar about the elk if you are interested. [email protected]

Muzz -
I'm 28, live in No. Ogden and I work for an engineering company in Ogden. I spent most of time at Hill AFB though. I've been hunting Elk since I can remember and I have alot of family and in-laws that just hunt.. hunt.. hunt!
I would be happy to toss some information back and forth, especially about tactics, etc. I will have to ask the "gang" about swapping some info. We, like you, have some public ground we really enjoy during the archery hunt. I know they stick around during the rifle hunt too, etc. What type of hunting do you enjoy? Hiking back in? 2.. 5.. 10 miles a day? That will help too. Let me get with the gang and I'll be in touch.
Rather be Huntin - Hey fellow Utahn. Very nice to see you. More and more of us showing up!

Thats cool man. I know what it is like to have a good spot and to let the wrong person know about it. It has happened to me a couple of times. It just between you and I if we trade spots. Any way I walk in to hunt lk and 5 miles is about average for me. To much farther and the elk might just spoil b4 I get it out.
