Hunting moose is the last item on my bucket list undone.I doubt it will happen Because I don.t want to fly and hunt, the logistics of getting the meat home is too expensive and I am not driving to Alaska. Yhe odds of a non resident drawing a tag in the north east US are very slim and I do not want at this stage of my life to apply for a passport. Used to be you could just drive to Canada till 911 and you didn't have to buy a permit to bring your rifle into Canada. I don't think Canadians need a permit to bring their hunting firearm into the US.
