Default 2023 BC Moose Hunt

Back from my moose hunt in north western BC. It was truly more than a hunt, it was an adventure. The drive up was spectacular and the float plane flight in was so cool. Day 5 of a 10 day hunt we called in our 6th bull to 120 yards. He was across a
beaver pond and I was able to take him where he stood. Walking out in the dark, covered in blood, in head high willows where grizzlies and wolves live makes you feel alive!

He was 52 1/4” wide, 23 points, 8” bases, and grossed right at 190”.

Congrats on a great trip and an awesome trophy..

Finally my Son who is in the army got some leave. We got him out hunting moose this year for his first time as my buddy had a bull tag. First day moose hunting ever, he saw 2 bulls and 2 cows. He harvested a really nice mature big bull. We have been busy dealing with the meat the last few days.

I don't post here anymore due to it being a spam factory but I will post a Vermont based congratulations to my old friend Rob on what must have been a truly memorable experience. Hopefully you didn't have to pack it out too far to get it back to your base camp. I'm sure that one will fill up a high ceiling in your Wyoming ranch.
