Default Arizona Coues Deer Rifle Invite 2021

Hey guys, I’m headed back to Arizona for the third time for Coues Deer. Killed a nice buck opening day last year, gotta go pick up my deer mount and figured I’d go back down again. Going for rifle November 8-11 and was curious if anybody would want to meet me November 7th in western Colorado and drive down? Gotta apply for the tag by June 8. Mountain hunt, be in shape because I’m kickin’ up those 500-1,000’ verts in 70-90+ degrees.

Just help me out with gas, hotel, and food we’ll be square. Odds are super high you’ll kill a buck if you can keep up with me.

My number is 712-302-5661

Feel free to post some pics, general area, odds for drawing a tag, is it on public, private or Indian land, etc. More information will likely get you more interest and results.

I'm curious how easy it is to draw down there.

100% Draw Odds, you’ll get the tag and you’ll have a shot at a deer if you can hike and keep up with me (24 years old, hike 2-3 miles off the road 6-8 miles per day). Public land, which most the unit is public, no sense by. No sense in burning 10+ deer points though as you do have to put in 1st Choice.

Won’t let me upload photos from my phone on Safari for some reason (won’t let me attach them).

If you’re only using a hunting license to accumulate bonus points while hoping to draw a hunt permit-tag for any one of the state’s coveted big game species, you’re really missing out. It soon will be that time of year when the weather couldn’t be more perfect for an “Arizona Hunting Safari,” especially in southern Arizona. In January, for example, a non-resident hunter can purchase an “over the counter” archery-only nonpermit-tag for either white-tailed or mule deer, or a leftover hunt permit-tag for javelina, without having to expend accumulated bonus points.
