Default Wyoming antelope

Headed to Wyoming for a week of antelope hunting. Public land. Got some paper maps and the onx gps program.

First stop is the spam museum in Minnesota.

I'll try to get some photos and updates as time allows!

Any last minute advice to a first time pronghorn hunter?

Good luck and have fun ! Is this a rifle hunt or bow ? If rifle I don't have much advise except don't shoot the first one you see. If its at all like Montana I could have killed one in the first 5 minutes with a rifle lol

You fellows are probably setting up camp tonight somewhere in sagebrush country. Looks like you have plenty of Spam for dinner and just maybe some fresh meat for tomorrow's dinner. Are you pulling a trailer or putting up a tent city?

I don’t think that the antelope will eat spam will they.?? What a spammer trying to get the antelope to like that stuff. Unfortunately I know nothing about the antelope. But I do wish you good luck..

We had a great day today. Started right at sunup in the Badlands. Then wall drug, black hills area. Actually went in an toured crazy horse monument. Been by it many times but never stopped. Then across into wyo and scouted all evening. Could have tagged out tonight. But wanted to look around and get serious tomorrow. Hopefully we don't regret that decision.

Welcome to my home state. Spend lots of money before you go. Take people back with you.

I enjoy seeing the photos of the different landscapes. They are a lot different than here where we go around or over the mountains and not threw them. But, our mountains are small anyway. Also we are lucky if we can see 100 feet in the woods out hunting until the leaves fall or we are looking down an old dirt road. Thanks for sharing and again good luck hunting.
