Question Help Identifying Horn?

Hello,

Cow horn. Too light in color to be bison.

It is either cow or steer. Typical of horns used for powder horns.

While I have nothing to compare the size or gerth of it with. My guess is it is a young cow horn or perhaps it is from a goat. I am assuming it is only 2 1/2 to 3 inches wide?

Won't be a goat. That is an old powderhorn. Notice the plug on the large end and you can see where the hole used to be on the smaller end. They wouldn't use a goat horn for powder back then simply because it wouldn't hold much. Trust me it is bovine.
