Cleaning and reflecting
For me it is the end of the big game hunting for this year and I am cleaning rifles for storage. I always clean them when I am finished with them and then clean them again before moving them into their racks to wait for next year.
This year I cleaned three Remington 700, two Winchesters 70, and two Ruger 77 rifles for the migration to the gun room. It is time I use to reflect upon the past season' adventures and start planning for the future.
The varmint rifles and the shotguns will join the big game rifles in another couple of months. I still might spook around with a muzzleloader a bit but the freezer is fairly full so I doubt that I will pull the trigger.
So far it has been a great year!

congrats on your success, been a good season here also, but now is my favorite part of season, bear season using dogs opens Monday, get to see guys I only see when bear hunting, have known these guys 30 years and look forward to it. no shooting for me this year my tag was used in the early rifle season. after that its doe season, get to take some youngsters out and let them amaze themselves with my long range rifles, always a blast.
