My diet is simple. An elk for me, and a bear for my dog. We can both eat for a year that way.

No need to try camel.

Your dog eats better than a lot of people.

Any respondents ever eat groundhog? Only know of one person who's tried it,personally. Upon inquiring w/them about the taste, I got the typical, "It tastes like chicken."`
I've ate groundhog... there is backstory to that. My grandpa growing up in WV ate groundhog regularly. They were poor, and atemostly game, so he's eaten about everything that was available. But he said he always liked groundhog. SO last year I shot him some ground hog and we cooked them up.... He decided he remembered incorrectly and figures he won't eat them again As for taste it wasn't bad, but it also wasn't good. I'd eat it if need be, but don't crave it.

Species I have hunted and ate:
Deer
Squirrel
Turkey
Rabbit
Pheasant
Dove
Porcupine
Turtle
Duck
Geese

Also have eaten / tried:
Black Bear
Elk
Buffalo
Moose
Caribou

Would like to try:

Pronghorn

Goat
Ram

That's all I can think of really. Turtle is very good. Porcupine was also very tasty.

Only if you like bear meat.

I keep trying to find a bear feeding on berries, but I haven't done it yet. Maybe i'll like bear meat if I can ever do that.
