Default What 2 deer hunters found while scouting for deer up here..

This is what 2 deer hunters found when scouting for deer up here.. It was a lucky find but such a shame these 2 had to fight until the end.. One had a spread of 50 inches and the other had a spread of 58 inches.. Both were nice adults to have been gotten if a lucky hunter could of had found them first. But, none the less this is nature working.. They reported it and they were both issued a permit to keep the antlers..

Oh good, it was a fight. I thought they were poached at first.

At least they went out being moose.

poor buggers.

the anti hunters would be happy to see them die this lingering natural way rather than an arrow or bullet though - because it's more humane apparently, or is it that death and cruelty don't exist outside hunting?

Your right.. I would of rather seen some hunters get them and have meat on the table.. These end up getting found once every few years and normally during the spring or summer months..

That is a tragedy. But its the way of the world. I hope that the animals didn't go to waste. They look decent in the photo, anyway.

Pretty good find, glad to hear the Wardens issues them a permit to keep the bones. Be a pretty good story.
