Greetings from Colorado,
I have not heard if these GMU' s are any good, but contact the DOW their number is 303.297.1192 and ask about the area' s that you want to hunt, they will give you wardens names to contact and numbers, so give that a try, and good luck!

Oldelkhunter....I sure hope they haven' t.
Thanks for the number for the DOW. I know which unit is the better of the three but just wanted to see if anyone has hunted any of them. Thanks for the help.

The units you mentioned have a great diversity of terrain, from adobe desert to sub-alpine. A lot of 521 is high chapparel or rolling oak brush covered stuff interspersed with aspen groves. You will see mulies, alright...and if oldelkhunter wants to believe that all the good deer have packed up and moved to Wyoming, I am more than prepared to let him continue thinking that to the end of his days

Thanks for the info. We were thinking 521 would probably be the better of the three. We hunted unit 28 several years ago. Not much success or many deer. I am hoping this year will be better.
