Default What are your reasons for hunting?

I love the interaction with nature. Bad day of hunting is still better than a good day at work.

How do you feel?

Keeps me from hangin out on hunting forums.

I have to have a reason ?

'cause I don't play well with others

'cause it keeps me from wastin time fishing (gives the fish a break)

'cause I have some awsome places to actually hunt

'cause its a family tradition

gives me something to do with my $15000 worth of guns and another $2000 worth of handloading stuff

'cause it makes "non hunters" cringe at the thought

'cause I can

It is something to get excited about. Something to dream about and enjoy every second you are watching a field as the sun goes down, whether it is full of deer or not.

I hike the same areas I hunt in Colorado everyday. I love the mountains, but I don't need to hunt to be in them.

I only hunt for one reason.

Meat.

I'm with Muley I don't need to hunt to enjoy nature. I'll be real honest on this one while I do hunt to have some meat in the freezer I hunt for racks. But it isn't the taking of game that excites me it's the situation that makes the day.
