I love the interaction with nature. Bad day of hunting is still better than a good day at work.

How do you feel?

It's my connection to the "real world", and to remind me of all God's glory !!!

Keeps me from hangin out on hunting forums.

I have to have a reason ?

'cause I don't play well with others

'cause it keeps me from wastin time fishing (gives the fish a break)

'cause I have some awsome places to actually hunt

'cause its a family tradition

gives me something to do with my $15000 worth of guns and another $2000 worth of handloading stuff

'cause it makes "non hunters" cringe at the thought

'cause I can

It is something to get excited about. Something to dream about and enjoy every second you are watching a field as the sun goes down, whether it is full of deer or not.

I hike the same areas I hunt in Colorado everyday. I love the mountains, but I don't need to hunt to be in them.

I only hunt for one reason.

Meat.

I'm with Muley I don't need to hunt to enjoy nature. I'll be real honest on this one while I do hunt to have some meat in the freezer I hunt for racks. But it isn't the taking of game that excites me it's the situation that makes the day.
