Rocky Mountain Ranches Elk Hunts
My hunting partner and I are planning an elk hunt for 2004. We haven' t made up our mind about where, but have thought about Colorado because we can both plan our time off from work for the over the counter rifle hunts. But we are not so sure about fighting the crowds on public land. So we are looking at tresspass fee hunts. Have any of you been on the hunts or ranches that Rocky Mountain Ranches offers, and what were your impressions about their operation and the hunts? Also, can any of you reccomend any other outfits that offer similar hunts? Any help would be greatly appreciated. kchamp

I don' t know about them, but do know of a private ranch near Glenwood springs that holds some good elk. Shoot me a line if you want more info. 1800 acres surrounded by several thousand acres that is not accessable to the general public.
