no this was not a high fence hunt. i hunted hard for ten days after a different bull and lucked into this one.

Congratulations then! Sounds like a great hunt.

Did you hunt with an outfitter or DIY? I keep thinking about moose hunting, but it is pretty hard to draw a tag in the lower 48 and pretty expensive to hunt in Alaska or the Yukon.

Are those Shiras moose?

i was hunting with my father. no outfitter and i paid thirty two dollars for the saskatchewan resident draw tag.

actually i was extremely fortunate there as i knew the farmer and he let me go into the field and load it with his tractor
