Wow, that's crazy looking. Looks like his chroma-zones didn't know if he wanted to be a deer or a moose.

Nice moose!! Congrats! It sure does look like it still has a lot of velvet on them. Are you going to do a full shoulder mount with it? I sure hope you do one like that does not come around every day! Also welcome to the forum..

yes he is at the taxidermist as we speak. he had velvet almost everywhere on his rack and it was rubbery. i have no idea what caused this as he was chasing a cow and calf around when i got him and he had testicles. his base was so thick i could not get both of my hands around it.

Was this on a high fence operation?

I hate to ask, but there are a lot of high fence operations in Saskathewan.
