Damn shame I have a buck and a doe voucher available and no takers. So I the next time I hear someone bitchin about how many years it takes to draw a license I'll be all over it.

Does a red ryder BB gun and back yard count as hunting them?

They are like flies here, kind of a pain. Eat all your shrubs and trees. I have hunted them once and usually think about hunting them every year and decide against it. I like elk hunting much more.

I have gone out the last couple years in SD. I am not sure if I am going to make it out this year or not. I usually have a pretty fun time hunting them. They are a different creature that is for sure.

Historian, how did the hunt go?

We got back from wy. unit 23 last night.5 guys got 5 bucks and 3 does and 2 mulie bucks a 2x2 and a 4x4. post photos soon.

SKB, when's the season for those antelope in your area?
I'm gonna be heading west soon, and might be able to time it to catch the season and help take some of the weight of those tags off your shoulders!

I seen some guys at a camp that had three antelope hanging in the sun while it was 80° out. I bet those will be nice eating! They were in area 23. There is some national grasslands in 23 and quite a few antelope still out there. Look just east of the Coal mines north of hi-way 450.

If you're coming from Ny., you'd have had to leave today because the season here in CO. started last Sat. and tomorrow is the last day. I'm heading out tomorrow to fill my buck tag.

I enjoy antelope hunting, problem is draw only up here and takes years to get a tag! I got a tag last year so be a few till the next one.
