A Moose tag in the state of Montana is not a once in a lifetime tag. After packing out my wifes bull moose, I think it should be!!!
I will apply for the tag myself this year. Should I draw the tag I am only hunting moose above the road. She killed her bull 1.68-miles from the road according to our GPS. The hike out felt more like 20-miles uphill both ways.

RBH - I failed to look at where he was from. I understand that you can't apply in Utah once you draw one of those tags. In NV you can apply after a 10 year waiting perior for all three sheep and goats, and the odds of drawing either are pretty slim, especially twice, lol.

Bear are pretty much a pain here. Black bears are harvest tickets everywhere, brown griz are just tags a lot of places , draw tags in others. Moose are still harvest tickets in most places. Sheep are mostly draw tags now, and fish & game is working hard at making them all draw hunts. Most mountain goat hunts are on the draw list but there are still a few registration hunts . Bison are all draw hunts very hard to draw, and after you draw your out for 10 years. And yea I put in for most of them.
