Can anyone tell me what states have OTC tags for Mule Deer and/or Antelope? Of the states that do, which have the best / most public land

Check out Colorado, Idaho and Washington for Mule Deer...plenty of public land in all three.

Idaho I believe is the ONLY state that has OTC Antelope tags.

I believe MT has easy draws though for Antelope and Mule deer, and plenty of mule deer!

Many states draws have yet to happen, and many areas/states can be drawn your 1st year, and may offer a better chance at harvesting an animal than general OTC tags.

keep in mind that the OTC antelope tags for idaho are archery only.

South dakota has otc archery onlytags on mule deer/whitetail

Colorado has no OTC deer tags
