Thank you all for the replies!! Yes, I am hooked and trying to figure out a way to get back out there!
As to the score....I didn't score him. I sort of wish I had but I'm thrilled with him. Needless to say, that is the biggest animal I've ever killed. He is at the taxidermist now and I'm doing a wall pedestal mount with him. Nose up, ears alert, left turn pose. Jonas Brothers in Louisville, CO, is doing the mounting for me.
By the way, the hunt was filmed for the TV show "Living The Wildlife", on The Pursuit Channel. It took us 3 days to finally take him. The show will probably air later this fall.
