Anybody know what sort of game is offered around the Clovis, NM area or within say 100mi? I know the area is fairly open. Didnt know if mulies or pronghorn or anything might be around. My fiance's family lives in Clovis. I think I may end up putting in for some sort of hunt in the western part of the state, but would ideally like to find something to put in for that I can keep Clovis as home base and travel back and forth. Thanks

Good Pronghorn hunting in that area. There is mule deer andcyots. if you go over to Ruidoso area theres elk, mt. lion, black bear. You have to draw a tag in NM or buy a landowner tag. I killed a good pronghorn between Tucumcari and Clovis last year but can't seem to draw an elk tag anymore.
