LOL! It means that unless it is a 30.06 everything else is a magnum caliber. HA HA

For me anyay, that is what I prefer..

Next time I'm wanting to feed my family paper for diner . . . I'll try one of your little 6.5-284 peas. I mean, which sounds better "MAGNUM" OR "Norma"? (lol)
For me, if Wally World don't have it, I don't shoot it. Sucks, but rolling my own is not in the near future.
But seriously folks........ magnums are not a necessity for big game. I believe it is well documented and widely understood that the lowly 30-30 has taken more big game over the past 100+ years than any other single weapon.
1st and foremost is comfort with your weapon, knowing you and your guns capabilities (balistics), and most importantly . . . shot placement, shot placement, shot placement(accuracy).
