Default Antelope draw

Ok so I didn't draw a tag again for antelope in Wyoming. Being from Southern Illinois does anyone have any ideas on where to go for a DIY for antelope. OTC tags for this year. S.D. or other units in WY, NM or others. Thanks for the help.

WY will have leftover tags for bucks, typically all the good public areas are taken or limited tags, so checkout the list now...its posted on WY's website.

Not sure what other states have OTC tags, have to look around.

Can buy a landowner tag somewhere....

I'm also in IL and didn't draw, I hope you got your pref pt at least. Study those draw odds etc....

If you're applying for a very limited tag for antelope in wy it may take you 10years to do so....

Personally I'd apply for other quality areas with public land that could be drawn in 3years or less.

I think CO may be OTC archery.....

Tried for area 75. Will have 2 pts. for next years draw. The most anyone can have is 3 from what I understand.Wy didn't start p.p. for antelope until 3 years ago.

Wyoming does have "special" permits, which essentially are the same tag, only cost more and depending on the unit etc...will give you better odds, sometiems theres a big difference, sometimes its minimal, so could or couldn't be worth it depending on your situation.

That is true for moose and big horn sheep, BUT NOT antelope. elk, and mule deer.

Gator, my nephew and i bought left over tags last year in unit 23 by Gillette. We both took good goats and we killed the first day. Antelope were everywhere. We hunted all BLM and state land.
