What Amazes me is how any True American could vote for him. I can only assume that the folks that do vote for him have no clue what he really stands for. The only thing I can think is they are uninformed.

That video is nothing but a slam job that can be done on ANY candidate, focussing on things like his name?? Come on, he had nothing to do with that.

I hope, and it looks like it might, that this campaign will actually be about issues, Obama said he will not challenge character, service etc. of McCain, but focus on differences in the issues and solutions. I truely hope it goest that way. He had LOTS of chance to sling mud against the Clinton's but didnt'. I hope that pattern continues.

If the campaign stays on issues, problems and solutions, hopefully we will get a good view of both and can finally make a choice for a president, rather than the a choice of who will be less bad.

The hype and fear mongering is bound to continue, the lies and slander will come out, I just hope it comes and goes quickly.

Folds his hands during the pledge of allegiance?? The arrogance of this man makes my blood boil, if he gets elected and we turn into a Marxist country i don't want to hear any bitching from those of you who voted for him, you knew/and were warned of this guy.

Have you ever seen the smirk that Bush has on his face all the time???? He is making millions off of oil while I have to take less trips because of gas prices. Obama gets my vote. Id die before I vote for another Republican. Slam me if you want, but I never thought I could vote for a black President, but the republicans are bleeding this country dry while they only get richer.

I wish we had more than just two choices. I am thinking of voting independent. Both parties are out for themselves and to be re-elected, all they do is fight over PC and enviro topics, and never accomplish anything other than destroying our country and the middle class. I think we need change also, but not a change towards socialism, a change back to our roots as a nation and following the guidlines of what out founding fathers laid out for us. A nation for the people by the people, not a nation for the government by the government. Our trying to fix all the worlds ills has got to stop, it has always ended badly for every nation throughout history that has tried. We need a re-birth of focusing on us and ours, and unleash American Innovation and business, without the massive restrictions and red tape imposed by our bloated federal government. Mcain, more of the same, too in the middle to get anything done. Obama is too far left, he will just increase the size and expense of our government and cause more business to pack up and move overseas, a nanny state is what you will get, no more individual choice, what you do will be dictated for you by those in charge.

Good grief let's keep the politics out of this forum, nothing good can come of it! Recall this about big game hunting not mud slinging!

What would he have to do in order to be worse than Bush? Seems like a pretty tall order.

THANKS FOR HELPING TAKING MY RIGHTS TO OWN A FIREARM AND HUNT!! [:@][:@][:@]
And its ignorance like this that makes me wonder why our country is in the state its in. Maybe actually looking into issues that focus on America as a whole and ignoring all the BS such as his religion, color or if he doesn't put his hand over his heart during the pledge of allegience. Who cares! Really what does that have to do with anything...nothing absolutely nothing.

Did you already forget about that thing called the "Brady Bill". If Obama is elected we will seegun controllaws that make the "Brady Bill" look pro-gun. Our taxes will go sky high. Universal health care has not worked in Canada, so why do you think it will work here? I think your the one that needs to look at the issues.

Let me start: others can follow with other replies:

(1) appoint two supreme court justices who think that the second amendment is constrained to ownership of arms in connection with a state militia.

With respect to credible evidence that Obama does not support second amendment rights, consider Obama's stand on the Washington DC handgun ban. He did not stand behind the friend of the court brief, signed by many other congressmen, that supported the lower court's ruling that the total ban on handgun ownership in Washington DC was unconstitutional. That would be evidence, in my book, that Obama does not support our second amendment rights, or at least the second amendment rights of citizens of Washington DC. As an exercise to the student, maybe someone else can inform us how Obama voted on the passed legislation that prohibits nuisance law suits against manufacturers of fireamrs? Assuming that Obama voted against this, that would be a second piece of credible evidence, in my book, that Obama does not support our second amendment rights.
