I have been using muzzies for 6 years and am very impressed with their capablity. I have used a rtractable 2 times the first time I lost the animal the second time it only penatrated half way up the shaft. I really don't see the benifit like all these big hunting guys onT.V. are saying so which is better retractables or fixed broadheads.Oh yeah the retractable was a reaper.

That depends on who you ask. Thunderheads worked well for me. I am now shooting Slick Tricks and I love them. Shoot very well for me. Rage BH's are also getting a ton of great reviews.

I use Dead Heads. They are fairly standard style but the blade angles can be adjusted so the flight path can match your target tips. I'm sure other broadheads do as well. It takes a lot of trial and error to match the flights but if you like to shoot its worth the effort. wayne

I'm a muzzy guy, but going to try the rage this year, my dad uses NAP razorbaks, its kinda a 2 blade with 2 bleeders with rotating technology, its a pretty sweet broadhead as well. Cut on contact. I think I may switch to both of those.

He shoots pretty light poundage, and has always killed what he has hit,

I would have to say aftershock broadheads. More specific the hypershock.

The best broadhead is the one you accurately place into the kill zone and is scary sharp
