Default Let me introduce myself

My name is Gus and I've been hunting for almost 50 years. I've lived in Alaska for more than 40 years and I get to share my love hunting and the outdoors in general with my wife. I'll put up a couple pics from some of my hunts.

Gus, welcome aboard!! Great animals there! What would a hindquarter on it's own, no ribs but on the bone weigh on your wifes Moose there? I've been wanting to plan a Moose hunt & have wondered that very question at times? Thank You!

Welcome Gus! Glad to have. I got the chance to go to AK last May it's a beautiful place. I would gladly move there if my wife wouldn't freeze to death.

I would have to guess around 200 pounds. The transportation of meat can be a daunting task for those not prepared for it.

Hey Gus. Good to see another Alaskan here.
What part of the state are you from. I live in Los Anchorage.
