Got just the place for you in KS. Private land and good cover. We hunt them on the CO side but plenty of them.

Stateline due east of Holly CO. Lots of CRP and easy access private land. This one came from the stateline about 200 yds. into CO in Oct 07.

Thanks. I will look into that. I would prefer to hunt private ground over public. Is there alot of hunting pressure on the Kansas side?

Virtually none. And if I recall the CO season starts just before the KS season so any animals that cross back and forth will be in KS once they get shot at a time or two.

Give your neighbors to the west a shot. Colorado has a very strong antelope herd on the eastern plains and you can usually find someone that is willing to let you hunt antelope on their property, just get out and try. Tags for archery are available over the counter for the eastern part of the state and you will see alot of antelope. Trepass fees usually go for around 500-600.00 plus the cost of your tag which is 316.00. Might be more than most people would want to pay, but with the ease of getting a tag, and the number of antelope you will see, it might be worth the extra money. You can also get a fully guided hunt for around 1200.00 plus the tag cost. Anyways, just a thought for you to kick around. Good luck and let us know how you do either way.

Trespass fees are a joke and not necessary at all in CO. If you try all your options to this point and still can't get a hunt that is reasonable.....I know where theres 12000 acres of family farm land that you can probably get hooked up with.....$300 total.
