If I could only hunt one big game animal it would be wild hogs with a spear. With a good pack of hounds, and a good strong spear it would be the cheapest way to hunt and still be amazingly fun. Hey, alot of folks down here in georgia and florida only hunt them with a knife.

But I choose hogs because I haven' t had the chance to hunt out west much, and when I did it was very expencive. I' d like to go after mulies (with a rifle) next.

whitetails with the bow-but if i had the money to go out west i think it would be elk.they are a pretty animal

It would have to be whitetail deer.

I would choose bears, but I would hate to only be limited to one animal.

my choice is lobster. west coast lobster..... they dont have claws!

1/. Red Deer during the Roar. (April)
2/. Elk/Wapiti during bugle. (That' s where I' m going in 4 weeks.)
3/. Tahr anytime but especially autumn. (April to August.)
4/. Chamois anytime.
5/. Wild Boar anytime. Prefferably hunt with dogs and knife.

But then I haven' t hunted Bear or Moose.

I havent hunted all big game by a long shot ,ones i have ,id have to pic elk & bears.

would like to try pigs , dont know if id hunt those warthogs with a spear& golie shin guards tho.[:-]

For sure not a lion/african or tiger or bear with a spear .. for fun lol[]

I never hunted anything else except whitetails. Although I am going for Pronghorn in september. Can' t wait. So at this point I would say whitetail but that whole elk/caribou thing sounds pretty good. With a bow of course.
