Wyoming Elk License Drawing Results Posted
Just thought I would let everyone know that the Wyoming Elk License drawing results are posted on their website.
I got my General license. Looking forward to hunting in the wilderness area with my friend who is a resident. Hopefully the rough winter and the wolves haven't gotten all the elk already!
Here's a link to check your drawing results - http://gf.state.wy.us/drawresults/frmsearch.aspx
Hope everyone drew the tag they wanted!

What about your other friend? ie ME? haha. NO luck myself, didn't put in for a wilderness unit though, so I only picked units I could DIY this year, also as funds are tight, couldn't do a outfitter or wilderness DIY.
Good luck though! Did you get a rifle or archery? late season rifle? rut archery? Hope you get that 350" and see some pictures! I'll be there one of these years.

Doing a wilderness rifle hunt. Season opens on September 20th!
From talking with my friend a 350" is probably not very likely but he has had about 80% success the last several years and gotten a couple bulls around 300".

Sept 20th? rifle? that sounds like the rut.....in the wilderness? Everything I read is those wilderness hunts is a nice bull is 350" good luck. Though I think they talk about a late season rifle hunt.....I surprised that time of year isn't archery? sept 20th? Maybe just before then is the rut/archery then. Late season/snow may be something to consider.
