i'm doin my research on antelope unitsin new mexico, just wanted to get some opinions and suggestions on some units that youguys havehunted.

when you apply, you basically apply for the western part of the state, or the eastern, if rifle that is, not sure how archery works. Then they place you on a ranch for that unit, or you can hunt public land. So don't think too hard, its eiather east or west, I think the western half has later dates.

I hunted a ranch in unit 25 about 35 milessouth of Tucumcari last year. Saw a lot of goats and killed a good one at about 6:45 am on the first morning of a two day season.
