Albino Moose...
A rare sighting of an albino moose near Manitoba/Saskatchewan
border on the Hudson Bay road North of Mafeking. These pictures were
taken by the hydro crew who (couldn't believe their eyes) but did have enough wits to grab a camera.

There is a community (name escapes me at the moment) here in Newfoundland that has "adopted" an albino bull moose that lives in the area. There is no law against taking an albino moose in NF (nor should there be) but this particular moose is protected, he is even mentioned in the provincial hunting guide.

I'd hate to be the poacher caught paunching this moose. He'd probably end up on the meat rack along side it.<img src=icon_smile_dead.gif border=0 align=middle>

I may be called superstitious, but I would not kill a albino anything. Good luck

I hope the moose lives a long normal life. I hunt and fish, but some things need to be left alone.
