Squirrel by far. Had one leap out of the tree onto the end of my gun, down my gun over my shoulder down my back and then around to latch onto the end of my boot. Scary as anything. They are crazy. dangerous killer squirrels, and we have big ones here in north east ohio too. Big mean corn fed killer squirrels..... I dont even know if I am spelling that write..... my hands are shaking just thinking of hunting them...

Actually i was just watching a show on Vs. tonight about dangerous game hunting. They had a elephant charge that was stopped at 6 yards by a couple well placed shots by the hunter and PH. Then next they had a lion hunt where this big male charged and the hunter got one shot off from the hip, got lucky and hit him in the head and killed him instantly. The lion's momentum carried him right into the hunter and knocked him over, but otherwise uninjured...it was amazing. That being said i think the "black death" would still scare me the most, their combination of speed, toughness and desire to stomp a mudhole into people that mess with them makes them extremely frightening.

I have no experience with African game. In North America, I vote for the bear. I never get a 1 shot kill on them.

The wolverine gets my vote.Pound for pound the nastiest animal in north america. If they grew to size of a bear we would all be in trouble.

hippo by far. Ask the majority of natives in Africa, believehippos cause overwhelmingly majority of deaths on land and in water.

I would have to agree with the hippo and the elephant as well for the most dangerous. The only one shot kill Ive seen on the elephants (on hunting show) were perfect headshots from10 - 20 yds out. Ive never seena show when they were hunting hippos but i too have heard about them killing more people then any other animal in that country. But due to there size Id imagine it would be just like killing the elephant exceptfor the fact that they are more aggressiveand it could be more of a challenge getting close without getting charged.I think I would be hesitant to try and takeone of the above with either a spear or bow.

I may have to change my answer to Hippo also... They seem pretty aggressive, plus I think the Grizz and the Hippo would be harder to see. I mean how easy is it for an Elephant to hide in the plains of Africa.. This of course comes from someone that has never hunted Elephant..
