Dangerous Game....
Dangerous Game Hunting....
Seldom do the participants intend to become the hunted; however, they conduct their hunt knowing it could happen and that is part of what makes the sauce.
.... ah go ahead.
IMO,"free-range" DG are of much more interest and are certainly more notable.
However, the fact that these creatures, even in captivity, can defeat man's containment/restraint strategies and still nail the unwaryand kill the flat out stupid is a testament to their prowess, a prowess that is furtherenhanced when DG lives in natural habitat and manenters the scene as the invader.
Now that is justsome bad ass critters.
"I don't think were in Californy anymore Uncle Jed."
"You're right Jethro, let's get the hell out of here andget back to Beverly.... go to the zoo instead!"

"....Why the warning? What we do here is kill. It's part of our sport.
Or are some members Liberals/ PETA peeple???
Or are some members Liberals/ PETA peeple???
but thenon the other hand, I wasn't born yesterday either....
Administrator's guidelines and common sense dictate a reasonable warning....
Marginallyprudent politics versus wanton, rash "in your face" actions....
I'll opt for the former.
(Most of the time, except for wolf lovers and for marginally to fully undergunned nitwits).
Dead animalsare one thing.
Dead humansare another.
The later commandsan increased measureof prudence.

That is about what you look like when one of the nine Cape Buffalo on this place gets done with you. You don't need to go to africa to loose your life by way of big game.

Hunters don't go to Africa to loose their life by way of big game (sic) [dangerous game].
Hunters go to Africato follow one of the greatest of hunting traditions and hunting experiences available. To hunt free ranging Dangerous Game in the middle of nowhere, and in the middle of one of the richest-multi-specie-game-animal-wildlife treasures on earthon a remote tented safaricannot be matched by a hunt in Texas.
================================================== =
Again, IMHO:
African huntersaccept the implicit risks of their DG Journey as a secondary incremental "expense", not as a primary reason for going.
Few will have to actually pay; however, while they are there, all know they could be the ones that get selectedto pay the "tax."
Therein lies the difference in the nature of thehunt and the difference in the content of the psyche.
