I also am doing a DIY elk trip in '08. My group of 4 guys each has 3 pref pts so we're confident in drawing a good unit! (fingers crossed) I'm reading this thread with anticipation and hope to find some good information about the heard and any hints/cautions/regulations to be aware of.
