With all the talk and questions going about I took a new project on. Posting some of my hunting pictures. These two slideshows are from our 3rd season hunt, 2005 in Unit 34. Enjoy. (hope the links work).

Unit 34 ,I was there in 2005 for the ML season,we had snow even in Sep.
3rd season could really be bad. I hunted unit 34 for a lot of years but stopped Rifle hunting there because of too many hunters, beautiful country
Next year I might go back there, this year a different area.

Nice slide show presentation, thanks for takingtime the time to share your hunt with us. Mother nature sure can be nasty in Colo, have to go prepared for whatever she throws at you. I was in Durango Oct 3 2004, 72 degrees and sunny at 2:00pm, 4:30pm cloudy windy 44 degreess, as I left Durango and traveled north on Rt 550, rain and sleet 1/2 hour out of Durango, climbing in elevation, we hit 2" of snow and 31 degrees along Cascade Creek area, finally arriving in Silverton at 6:45 pm, 3-4 inches of snow and 27 degrees. Stopped many times to photograph the snow coveredNeedle Mtn range. In 2006 last week of archery season, some area's had picked up 15 inches of snow, come prepared !
