6,5x55 is not recommended for bear-hunting here in sweden, Don't know about the blackbears but our brownbears are considered hard to shoot. 30.06 or bigger is a better choice for those animals...

Why dont you see if the outfitter can tranquilizea bear for you before you arrive for an extra $1500, then you wont have to go trough the trouble of sitting 20 yards from the bait for a few hours before you blast it from close range.
Then you can get to the site, shoot him, and be home in less that 20 minutes.
