Right on Handloader1! What are we supposed to do, write an encyclopedia? If these folks can write an email they obviously have access to the internet. If they aren't willing to go to yahoo or whatever and type in "elk hunting" and do at least 14 1/2 minutes of research to a least narrow it down - you can't help them! Elk hunting is HARD work, yet so many folks seem to be looking for a free ride. If they're that lazy, then elk hunting is going to be too much work for them and they should stay at home next to the TV remote control and watch the hunting channel.

Is anyone screening the content of these questions? It is pushing more worthy topic on down the page!

Good judgement comes from bad experience! Half of elk hunting is knowing what NOT to do!

Elkamp,
Yer gettin' close to winnin' the BeaverJack pink arse intolerance award. I say let 'em stay on the concrete feelin' like they got no life outside of video stores an' choosin' vinyl sidin' fer their pathetic lil' cracker box houses. More greenhorns roamin' the hills means worser huntin' fer the real elk hunters already in the world. Tired of no parkin' at the trailheads an' resue helicopters flyin' non-stop durin' the season. Glad to know I ain't the onliest grumpy ol' codger 'round here.

BJ,
Some days the orneries is worse than others! Enjoy skimming these posts - often learn something or at least shake up my thinking from time to time. Try to help others when I think my opinion, such as it is, might make a difference. Then you see some posts where you know you're just wasting your time. I wasn't even going to respond to this one until I saw handloader1's witty response and felt I had to cheer him on!
