thanks guys, i really appreciate the positive comments. I shot that elk with a 150gr federal rn sp. I got my gun the day before i left. HOAL sent me the gun. I really wish i woulda had more time 2 try a buncha different shells. I had to go with what the dealer had because i didnt have time to go check around.They preformed well. I recently used them on a whitetail doe though and I would not recomend them on deer. The dont expand quite enuff 2 my liking

That should help settle the 270 arguement a little i hope. As far as the comment about me being a dwarf i do not particulary appreciate that. I am short in stature but I can not change that due to health problems. I am only 4' 6" but theres nothing I can do. []

Don't pay any attention to those idiots. Some people are short in stature, while others are short in mental acuity, or worse short in comon decency. Which do think is the worse affliction? Its not the size of the man in the fight, rather the size of the fight in the man that matters!
