I'm about about to book my first Black Bear hunt for next Spring, I'm thinking Good Times Charter around Prince William Sound Alaska. Anyone hunted with him or have any iinfo on the location?

PWS bears tend to be a bit smaller than SE Alaska bears, but you should be able to find a 6 footer with a 17" skull. (The one in the raft is a decent PWS bear.) They also come out a bit later, about May 15 as a generalization. Don't expect any color phase bears, they're all black. I don't know anything about the charter operator you specified but a vessel based hunt is really the way to go in the spring, I just hope his vessel is bigger than the one above!

My largest was a Pa boar. He dressed out at 356 lbs but scored 20 11/16. He had a monster head on him. Although in Lycoming county the majority I have seen seem to be that way.
