Antelope outfitter help??
#1
Hey guys,
I would like to try and get my father on his first out of state hunt, and would like to try and find a quality antelopeoutfitter in MT, WY, or CO. Price is a consideration, but any first hand experience with some outfitters that you could provide would be great! It will be a rifle hunt for him and possibly a bow hunt for me. Thanks in advance.

save your money and dont hire an outfitter. antelope are plentiful here in wyoming, and im sure the other states ya mentioned are similar. maybe find a landowner and even pay a small trespass fee if necessary, but i "guide" a lot of swap hunters that i take, and we are 100% every year, on public land. 13 inch plus goats are the norm, which isnt huge, but certainly very nice, and make a great mount. thats just my thoughts on it, but i really dont think ya need an outfitter.

Antelope hunting isn't that hard. The only trouble you might have is judging a buck on how big it is. Eastern Montana is an easy draw, and there is enough public land or open ranches to get one.
