Was wondering if anyone has ever done any hunting on the walk on areas that are available in some areas of Wyoming.I will be out there next week and have zero'd in on a couple areas that seem ok.I have tried some BLM areas with little success.Hope the cooler weather will help this time around.I will be hunting s.e. of buffalo and also have a ranch available near lake desmet,south of Sheridan.Any help or direction is greatly appreciated.I have a deer tag for region C. Many of them are good areas, I hunted game birds, waterfowl and Antelope on some. I beleave that outfitters are not supose to use them.

The one's I've hunted around here are just like any other private land.........good!

I'll be hunting for mule deer.

BLM, State, and other public lands in Wyoming can be productive as well. There are Game and Fish management areas in some places too. I haven't hunted for deer in that area myself, so I'm not sure where they are at.
