Here is a poll concerning the delisting of grizzlys. I am sure "no" will dominate.

You weren't kidding either, we're just pulling a sad 23%.

The problem with these polls is that the numbers are based on emotion and not on science. Many of these so called environmental groups are opposed to hunting at any level. If we had 50,000 grizzlies in the lower 48 they would still do their best to convince the public that we only had 50 for no other reason than that they don't want them hunted. When the grizzly bear was placed on the list there were certain criteria dealing with numbers and areas of occupation that had to be met to consider delisting. All of them have been met! Some for a long time now. I don't know how the game and fish go about counting bears but they estimate that there are about 600 in Wyoming where I live. I find that very hard to believe considering the number of square miles in the bear recovery zone and the number of bears people see in the woods each fall. Rest assured that this issue will be tied up in court for quite some time.

This is such a joke !!! I get sick and tired of these rich uptight prissy city pansies who have no freakin' clue about the outdoors crying over why these bears should be kept on the list. There is obviously no reason to keep pouring money and resources into protecting an animal that no longer needs it when the money could be better spent on a different species that truly is endangered. Heck, if for some reason prarie dogs were on the list and MSN had a vote to remove them from the list these mental midgets would probably vote against that too.
