Beautiful pics,thanx for sharing
Im with jamiebuck on this one.I believe its a mother and her 2 year old cub.
If I were to guess the weight of the first bear then it would probably be 300 lbs easy.Healthy looking bears for sure.

Power, nice pic.'s, just curious what kind of camera you were using, and if you used a zoom lens when takeing thepic.'s, you had to be pretty dang close, thanks for sharing them with us, RobinHood36>>>=============<>

In my opinion that is one nice healthy boar and sow you got pictures of. The smaller bear is definitely not a 2 year old cub, far to developed. The very first pics of what looks like a boar show a very thick animal that is very wide through the rear with a nice gut, especially for early in the year.

Absolutely gorgeous pictures, thank you for sharing.

Thanks all. My camera is an Olympus 750 Ultra Zoom digital camera. The farther away shots were probably 200 yards but they got within about 50 yards of me. Almost too close for comfort but makes for some great shots. Will post my brothers pics too when I get them.

Talked to a guy at the WDFW yesterday and he said it's not uncommon for boars to hang out if there is abundent food (blueberries/huckleberries). He thinks the pictures are 2 boars.
